DC for 10,000 to 300,000 Amps
When DC currents of 10,000 to 300,000 amperes are required, our IndustryBars are often used. These industrial busbars have been specially engineered for demanding industrial environments. IndustryBars, also known as high-performance busbars, PowerBars or Busducts, are made of highly conductive materials such as copper Cu-ETP or Aluminum. Since the environmental conditions in the Primary Industry tend to be aggressive, corrosion-resistant coatings are also used to increase the service life of the components. These individual solutions are engineered in close collaboration with our customers on a project-specific basis, e.g. for chlorine electrolysis with 18,000 amps or aluminum electrolysis with 180,000 amps.
Modular = Vision®Bar
Our Vision®Bars are modular busbar systems that can be assembled from individual segments to provide a flexible and adaptable power distribution solution for industrial plants. They are characterised by a high current-carrying capacity, a compact design and a robust construction and can carry 1,200 to 10,000 amperes.
Thanks to the unique combination of fixed and flexible components, Vision®Bar can also be adapted to a wide range of installation conditions.
