What does the EMS actually do?

The EMS develops and manufactures individual components for electrical connection technology to measure. With our solutions made of copper, aluminum or Cuponal, it is always about bringing electricity from A to B.

In short, wherever a cable comes your limits, our components such as flexible or solid busbars are used.

This is the case, for example, when
–   high currents flow
–   high temperature fluctuations occur
–   the installation space is limited or
–   vibrations surround the component.

How many people are employed at EMS?

At our sites in Horbach & Waldfischbach-Burgalben in Germany we employ about 250 people – in Poland about 150.

Is there an opportunity for trial work or an internship?

Yes – you can arrange an internship (also as a school internship) or trial work and get a taste of our professional fields! We are looking forward to meeting you!

What are the chances of being hired by EMS?

With a good work ethic and the right commitment, you have a good chance of being taken on as a permanent employee after your training! Many trainees also take advantage of the opportunity for dual studies with the EMS.

Is a grade point average required for training at EMS?

Yes and no – it is more important to us that you start your training with motivation and interest. If this is the case, we will support you in every way so that you can successfully complete your training with us.

What is the selection process?

After successful submission of your application documents, you will receive feedback from us as soon as possible. Please note that we need a few working days to review all documents.

For all commercial apprenticeships you will be invited to an assessment center (workshop).

How do I apply?

You can apply directly on our website under the respective job posting. There you can also upload your documents such as cover letter or resume directly. If you have problems creating your resume, simply use our template.

Can I apply for multiple locations or for multiple positions at the same time?

It is possible to apply for different positions or locations. If you are interested in a position that is not advertised, you are welcome to submit an unsolicited application!
