Highly flexible High-Current Busbars

Braided Flexible Busbars are highly flexible busbars and are used as moving elements in switchgear and equipment construction. They are made of thin, machine-woven individual wires with solid connectors and are both flexible and robust.

Braided Flexible Busbars allow the transmission of high currents between vibrating components and compensate for three-dimensional movements. In particular, round stranded conductors allow a high degree of flexibility in all directions of movement.

These high-performance busbars (PowerBars or Busducts) are manufactured from highly conductive materials such as copper Cu-ETP or Aluminum according to your specifications. Our modular busbar systems, such as Vision®Bar, allow systems to be divided into sections. They ensure that the power supply is maintained even if individual sections fail.

Busbars in decentralized container solutions

Battery containers for emergency power supply are used as emergency power systems (EPS) to supply critical consumers with power in the event of a power outage or a temporary overload on the power grid. With comparatively little structural effort, systems in difficult locations can also be reliably supplied. Battery containers usually contain not only the battery racks and accumulators but also the complete control technology such as transformers, inverters in solar systems, rectifiers in charging stations or grid stabilizers. In combination with decentralized energy generators such as solar, wind or even hydropower, they typically serve as a self-sufficient energy solution. Our busbars are used in battery containers as electrical components in power distribution systems to transport electrical energy from a source to various consumers.

Battery containers can also be used as grid balancers in smart energy grids. They store excess energy from renewable sources and feed it back into the grid when needed.
